The Dublin International Organ Competition forms the core of the Pipeworks Festival. The first prize comprises €5000 and prestigious recital engagements in Ireland, the UK, continental Europe and the USA. The second and third prizes are €3000 and €1500 respectively. The 2011 competition secured its highest ever number of applicants representing eighteen different nationalities and five continents. The names of the 2011 quarterfinalists are published here.
