The Dublin International Organ Competition forms the core of the Pipeworks Festival. The first prize comprises €5000 and prestigious recital engagements in Ireland, the UK, continental Europe and the USA. The second and third prizes are €3000 and €1500 respectively. The 2011 competition secured its highest ever number of applicants representing eighteen different nationalities and five continents. The names of the 2011 quarterfinalists are published here. The 2011 Prizewinners are: Joon-ho Park, Republic of Korea (1st) The next competition will take place in 2014. |
